It is my opinion that every martial artist, no scratch that, every person (but especially martial artists) should have a yoga practice. Yoga physically not only improves flexibility but also muscle endurance, strength through ROM (range of movement), core strength, agility, mobility, balance, and joint stability. Yoga also comes with mental and emotional benefits of learning how to quieten the mind through meditation, patience, and gratitude.
